I was the one you hit with your bike. I have since left the country and I won’t return. In my country the males are the hit men, but in Texas, I guess it’s the women.

Even if I’d gotten hurt a little, it would still be funny. You probably remember that this was just after you and I had flown into town, but before the parentals had driven in, but I didn’t want to bore other readers with that detail.

I still have my “wonder twin” ring from that trip!

Awwww, come on! This is one of my favorite “most embarrassing” moments. (Notice that I said ONE of them.)

I’d also love to hear your ideas for a great comeback line for this situation. “Welcome to America. We have now completed your complementary tire check.”
