Is it really necessary to have a Transformers sequel? Really? <br/><br/>I agree with Mr. Inman with his list of decent sequels, though. And need to add MIB II, Austin Powers, and Harry Potter to the list of good ideas. :) Also...let us not forget that Mr. Mel Brooks NEEDS to create a Spaceballs sequel. "Spaceballs III, The Search for Spaceballs II." However, you cannot dismiss Lord of the Rings, the Narnia movies, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, and some of the Star Wars. The "They shouldn't have tried" category: Shanghi Knights (or whatever the title is), Zorro, the George Clooney Batman movie, and those horrible movies that come from TBN (Left Behind and the like), the Magnificent 7 Ride Again, The Return of the Magnificent 7, and the Last Stand of the Mag 7. Rambo parts 2 and 3 (4 was a good movie). And I could go on, but why waste everyone's time? Seldom do sequels do justice to the origional story line.
