Sarah, (whispering) I won't tell the kiddos!

Okay, Dan, in your honor I'll add Blazing Saddles. Or how about Three Amigos?

I had to vote for Narnia because my children would throttle me if I didn't, however I would love to see Pemberly.

What...no westerns on your poll? Pride and Prejudice but no westerns? This poll seems awfully biased.

Christi, I think I'll join you in that 1800s world, though my waist isn't tiny like yours!

David, I didn't want to inflict the wicker humor on you that night. I know you have to put up with enough of it already. =) You're always a good sport.

Mama Mia, I like children's books, too. I'm glad you exposed us to libraries and literature while Sister and I were growing up.

GF, I haven't seen JABC yet, but I have seen Firefly and Serenity; I really liked them! Do you watch Chuck? Jayne (Adam Baldwin) has a lead role that's hilarious.

Julie, I'm with you, girl. Guys and Dolls is a top favorite.

And Will, I would love to be ringside to watch a meeting between you and Mr. Collins.

Now, what I'd like to know is why NO ONE has voted for Nacho Libre in the poll. Come on! Any takers?

This is a great idea. I'd love to meet Mr. Collins, I wonder about him sometimes.

I'd like to step into the Stargate and see where it takes me.

I'd also like to visit Narnia.

I'd like to visit a world where the Cowboys played football like champs. Is that too much to ask?

Although I voted for Chronicles of Narnia, I must confess that movies have always held this attraction for me. I still long to step into The Sound of Music, Guys and Dolls, and anything with Cary Grant. (That last part is purely for oogling purposes, however.)

I love this post!
What a great fantasy to walk into my favorite book.
Well, it's a given that number one would be Lord of the Rings, but that's the easy answer.
Another would be the TV Series "Firefly". It's set 500 years in the future and on a spaceship called "Firefly". The series was a prequel to the movie "Serenity". I'd love to be a member of that crew.
How about Robinson Crusoe? And, of course, add me to the character list.
This was so fun. I've been trying to get comments on here for days, computer problems.

I think I'll check out "Lost in Austen". Did you see movie "The Jane Austen Book Club"?
Thanks Alison

So many books, so little time! For a serious book, I always return to One Incredible Moment by Max Lucado. For fun, children's books fascinate me. Hearing a school librarian read The True Story of the Three Little Pigs was hilarious. Agatha Christi books are always a fun, light read. There's really too many to list, and it's too hard to choose.
