Of course I know most of what happens to her, but it’s funny how characters really do reveal only parts of their story sometimes. I’ve heard other writers talk about that, and now I really know what they mean.

How sad about Mitch. Josie’s anquish is quite evident in her journal.

On a lighter note, McLemore-Bass no longer is in Abilene, is it? The mention of it stirs up sweet memories.
