The last post was a whole lotta me. Now I’d like to hear about you. I’m in a funky mood, so plunk your “go with the flow” hat on your head.

calendarIt’s a new week. For many it’ll be an ordinary week as far was we can tell, barring you lucky ducks who get a Presidents’ Day break. For most of the rest of us it’ll be business as usual. It’s easy to slip into auto pilot sometimes, isn’t it? The weeks fly by, and then we wonder what stole away the year.

So…let’s sit and pause for a moment. What could set this week apart for you? What is one thing you’re hoping for during the next few days? When you look back on this week, do you think anything stand out?  It can be serious or funny. Do tell.

I am waiting on an email. A very important email. An email I’ve been waiting on for about two months now. It shouldn’t say much, should even be vague, but I will feel much better once I get it.

If not? Well, I’m sure something else will come along…

This may sound hokey and churchy, but I really do mean it. I really hope I get to see someone come to Christ this week. I think it would do me a lot of good personally since I’ve been feeling ineffective for the Kingdom lately (ahem…the proper term would be evangelistically challenged).

That and I hope I get a chance to eat chocolate donuts. That would be great too.

I’m back with the all important donut update:

I got on the motorcycle and bought some. Woohoo!!

I’m looking forward to reading the first 15 pages of a freinds WIP. I have to take a test on Wednesday in my Intro to Law, so I hope I look back on it with a smile and not a wince! :-)

I’d love to be on a motorcycle ride this week like Happy Dave, but, alas, I don’t have one!

Thanks for sharing slices of your life!
Billy, I hope it comes and comes quickly. Waiting on THE e-mail can make the clock slow like Christmas Eve, can’t it.
David, I’ve decided that for next Valentine’s Day, I should get you a bouquet of little chocolate donuts. I’d be your favorite wife ever, wouldn’t I?
GF, good luck on your test. I, too, hope it’s a smile, not a wince.
Soon I’ll share my plan/hope, and it’ll shock some people.

I had a day at the park with a friend who had Monday off, and a root canal yesterday, which means I got nothing done. I’m spending the rest of the week playing catch up.

And it’s life as usual in the Jerome household. :)

I’m waiting for 2012. But, I’d better be ready for it much sooner!

I’m doing some local book club presentations next week — am a little nervous.

It’s a great week so far. The only thing that could make it better is that I wake up to discover that the political climate of the last six weeks was all a bad dream brought on by the ingestion of some bad PORK.

Oops, sorry to get political, Alison. Let’s try again. :)

It’s March, which means that our vacation is one month away, which means I have to go shopping. Double yay!
