What does your name say about you? What do other people think about you when they hear your name?
Better yet, what could your name say about you? The rest of this post is just for your beginning-of-the-week fun.
Over at American Christian Fiction Writers, writers are tossing around a lighthearted topic. Ever heard of anagrams? It’s when you rearrange the letters of a word to make another word. Some people have even spent time creating websites that will let you enter whatever word you want. Then, *click*…you have a gazillion new words. People are entering their names to see if any of the results actually reflect their personality. It’s good for chuckle.
For example, the title of this post can apply to me. Out of the 9,773 results for my name, I also like Tribal Annoys, Brain Nay Lost, and Bran Ya Tonsil. So, what can your name say? Here’s the web site I used: anagram generator
I’d love to hear your results!

Well, I only had 94 results (must be that “v” in my name), but I think the best one would have to be…Bad Van Dirty

This is so great! I think I’m going to have to link to you and do my own post on the aubject. But here are my favorite anagrams of my full name:
A Silent Folly Story
A Trifle Slyly Snoot

Id Joule Ow
Judo Lie Ow
Judo Lei Ow
Judo We Oil
Judo We I Lo
These were the only 5 results for my name. Since I know nothing about karate and very little about physics (joule), I think the reflection of my personality fails in this instance.
However, when I added my middle name, Ann, I got more results, including one for my grandmother-in-law. Her name was Aline, and the result was Aline Judo Won! (Although I doubt she ever did Kung-Fu!)
Thanks for such a fun post!

Since my cell phone has been acting up lately, I thought this one was very appropriate:
Boy Cell Iffy

Mine generated over 5000 variations, many of them began with “viral”

Anklet Eh
Shrew Milk
I am rolling on the floor laughing at the second.
Thanks, Alison, this was fun!

Sometimes mindless fun is so nice in today’s serious world. Thanks for playing along…anyone else?

And for the record, I’ve never used the anagram generator to get those six letter words while playing wordtwist….
